The Quest for Convergence incentive scheme (“Incentive Scheme”) is open to employees of Hewlett Packard Ltd platinum, gold, silver and business reseller partners in the UK, (where such resellers are members of the HP PartnerOne Programme for Enterprise Group and have a valid Partner contract with HP) who are (i) 18 years of age or older and a resident in the UK at the time of entry and (ii) have obtained prior written permission of their employer to participate in this Incentive Scheme (“Participants”).
Registration and participation in the Incentive Scheme constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions. HP reserves the right to disqualify anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
This Incentive Scheme cannot be combined with any other Hewlett Packard Ltd offers or rebates.
The Incentive Scheme runs from 01.03.15 up to and including 31.10.15 (Incentive Period). Participants can start registering to be part of the incentive from 06.03.15.
Personal data which you provide when you participate in this Incentive Scheme will only be used by HP and if applicable, it’s subcontractor(s), for the purposes of this Incentive Scheme and in accordance with the current HP privacy policy available on the HP website at http://www8.hp.com/uk/en/privacy/privacy.html.
The Incentive Scheme, which takes the form of an online game, aims to drive increased combined sales across certain products in HP’s Enterprise Group (EG) portfolio in servers, storage, networking, technology services and converged systems product categories (EG Product Categories). The qualifying EG products within the EG Product Categories can be downloaded here (“Qualifying EG Product”)
Participants will need to register via the Incentive Scheme portal. Only one login per Participant is permitted.
Each Participant in the Incentive Scheme will be assigned a partner tier based on EG revenue performance of the Participant’s employing organization between 1st August 2014 to 31st January 2015. (“Tier”)
The Incentive Scheme will run on a points basis.
Participants will need to ensure that the combined sales of the Qualifying EG Products meet the minimum invoice value to their end customer for the relevant EG Product Category (as set out in Table 1 below) before logging their sales during the Incentive Period.
As of 30/03/2015, Participants must log sales as and when they occur. In addition, Participants will be able to log sales of Qualifying EG Products made between 01/03/2015 and 30/03/2015.

Points for combined sales of the Qualifying EG Products will be validated and allocated weekly by HP, at its discretion, during the Incentive Period.
Points for each Tiers vary based on the value of sales made to end customers of the Qualifying EG Products. Points allocation, applicable to the relevant Tiers for the sale of Qualifying EG Products will be communicated to the Participant after registration.
To maximise points, Participants need to sell more Qualifying EG Products together on the same invoice from across the EG Product Categories . Points can be claimed for selling Qualifying EG Product from one EG Product Category but the amount of points that can be earned increases as the value of the sale increases and more Qualifying EG Products are added to the sale from the different EG Product Categories.
Points allocated to each sale made by the Participant will be set out on the Incentive Scheme portal.
Points multiply as more product categories are sold and order value increases as shown by the ‘multiplier factors’ in Table 2

Converged System Appliance Sales will be treated as a separate EG Product Category and the points multiplier applied to converged systems is in Table 3.
If a Converged System is sold with one or more Qualifying EG Products within the other EG Product Categories then the points for the Converged System will be treated separately. If additional EG product is sold on the same invoice then these will be treated as a separate sale and points awarded as per the multipliers in table 2.
All points awarded throughout the Incentive Period will be held in a points account for each Participant. As Participants log their combined sales for the Qualifying EG Products, their points, will be visible alongside a leader board of all Participants within the relevant Tiers.
As Participants earn more points, they will be able to navigate through the different levels of the online game, with chances of winning more prizes as the Participants progress further in the on-line game,
HP is not responsible for lost, corrupted or delayed entries.
Participants may opt to either:
Points must be redeemed via the website directly with Corporate Rewards Limited. Prizes, once chosen, can only be changed if the redeemer contacts Corporate Rewards Ltd within 24 hours of the redemption.
All points must be redeemed 30 days following the end of the Incentive Period.
The prizes available throughout the Incentive Period are detailed below:
Upon registration, Participants will be asked to identify “the doorway to Convergence” and answer a question about HP. The first two correct entries per Tier will be eligible to win a Bose sound dock.
In the case of a prize not being available in the Reward Catalogue, then Corporate Rewards Ltd will contact the Participant within 7 days of placing the order and offer a replacement item of similar value.
HP and/or its subcontractor(s) (i) reserves the right to remove, add or substitute prizes of equal or similar value from the Reward Catalogue, at its discretion and (ii) will honour any prizes that have already been allocated to a Participant prior to any alterations made to the Reward Catalogue.
In addition to logging combined sales for the Qualifying EG Products, Participants will be able to progress through different levels of the on-line game as they reach certain set points thresholds and in doing so will be able to collect each letter of the word ‘Convergence’. The points thresholds for moving to a different level of the on-line game are set out on the “How to earn points” page of the Incentive portal. Each individual letter collected will earn Participants one entry into a monthly prize draw. There will be 1 prize draw per month per Tier (4 prizes each month). Prizes available include ‘Ferrari Thrill” experiences, “The View from The Shard and Thames Lunch Cruise for Two” experiences and a HP Chromebook 11 G3.
Participants will receive an email each month inviting them to take part in a monthly quiz during each month of the Incentive Period to answer questions in relation to EG products and services. . If Participants successfully pass a quiz, then the Participant will receive a scratch card code with a chance to win a prize. The scratch card codes will be issued monthly by email. Prizes available include a Luxury Spa Day at Champneys, Tandem Skydive and Amazon vouchers.
For each of the 4 Tiers there will be 2 runner up prizes. The second and third position winners will be chosen based on their performance (i.e. the second and third highest number of total points awarded throughout the Incentive Period).
The wining runner up Participants per Tier will be invited to go on a one Night Deluxe Paris Break for Two with Seine Cruise (“Runner Up Event”). Each winning runner up Participant will be invited to bring their nominated partners. Both the Participant and their nominated partner must be in possession of a valid passport for travel.
The Runner Up Event will be presented to the winning runner up Participants as a voucher which is expected to be valid for 9 months from November 2015 (final dates to be confirmed by HP at its discretion).
HP will fund the following in relation to the Runner Up Event for the runner up Participants and their nominated partners: Eurostar travel from London to Paris, one night’s accommodation and the Seine Cruise experience. All other expenses will be the responsibility of the individual winner (e.g. spending money). The runner up winners will be announced by no later than 31.12.2015.
Runner up winning Participant cannot transfer the Event prize to anyone else.
The top performing Participant per Tier will be invited to go to Tokyo (Event). The winners will be chosen based on the top performing Participant (i.e. the highest number of total points awarded throughout the Incentive Period)
The Event is expected to take place in March 2016 (final date to be confirmed by HP at its discretion). Each winning Participant will be invited to bring their nominated partners. The winners will be announced by no later than 31.12.2015.
HP will fund Flights (economy class), up to 4 night’s accommodation and organised events, meals and activities for the winning Participants and their nominated partners. All other expenses will be the responsibility of the winning Participant (e.g. spending money).
The winning Participant cannot transfer the Event prize to anyone else.
Prizes are subject to their own provider’s terms and conditions. HP and its subcontractor(s) take no responsibility for the prize provider’s terms and conditions. Each prize (including experience rewards) will be fulfilled by the Participant’s direct arrangement with the prize supplier, in accordance with each individual supplier’s availability, lead-time and capability.
Where applicable, prizes will be sent to the winning Participants by post within 28 days of placement of order unless otherwise stated on the Incentive Scheme portal or by email communication or in the prize providers own terms and conditions.Prizes are as stated and are not transferable. No cash alternatives are available. HP and its subcontractor(s) reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal value.
Prizes will be considered a taxable benefit to the winning Participants. The winning Participants will be directly responsible for accounting for and paying to their local tax offices any tax liability, social security or National Insurance (“NI”) contributions arising on their prize. HP and/or its subcontractor(s) will not have any liability for tax, social security or NI arising from this Incentive Scheme.
HP reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this Incentive Scheme at any time without notice.
In the unlikely event of a dispute, HP’s decision shall be final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding this Incentive Scheme or these terms and conditions.
HP and/or its subcontractor(s) cannot guarantee the performance of any third party and to the extent permitted by law shall not be liable for any act or default by a third party. Participants in this Incentive Scheme agree that HP and/or its subcontractor(s) have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, costs, damage or disappointment of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from acceptance, misuse or use of a prize, or from participation in this Incentive Scheme. Nothing in this clause shall limit HP and/or its subcontractor(s) liability in respect of death or personal injury arising out of its own negligence or arising out of fraud.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Corporate Rewards Ltd will administer the Incentive Scheme on behalf of HP.
